-Nominations for the 42nd annual Dove Awards were announced yesterday. New artist Chris August led the pack with 5 nominations, followed by Francesca Battistelli and Mikeschair each receiving 4 nominations. Click here to see the complete list. -Melissa Larkin-Schultz and her husband, Greg, are today's winners of The Gift of Love package. They have one of the most interesting and unusual love stories we've ever heard. Listen: Part 1  Part 2

-This past Sunday, a local church had an incident where a man walked in the service threatening to blow up the building and shouted obscenities at churchgoers. Thankfully, nothing major happened and the man was taken into custody. We thought it would be a good idea to revisit a conversation from a couple of years ago with Jeff Hawkins of the Christian Security Network. He reminds us that every church needs a security plan. Listen: Part 1  Part 2

-Coming up Friday: Our movie guy, Bob Waliszewski, of Focus on the Family gives us the family-friendly scoop on the weekend's new movies at 7:10 AM. Then at 7:40 AM, we'll talk to Augusta Allstate agent Jamie Felder about an event he's hosting on Saturday to stop texting while driving. We'll talk to our final winning couple of The Gift of Love at 8:40 AM.
