Simple Cooking - Taco Pie

1 lb of hamburger meat
2 rolls of croissant dough (the ones you can find in the freezer area)
1 packet of taco seasoning
2 cups of shredded Mexican cheese

Brown and drain hamburger meat. Return back to pot and add taco seasoning (add water according to package). In a 13 x 9 baking dish, lay flat one roll of croissant dough. Sprinkle a cup of cheese on top of dough. Next, pour cooked meat on top of shredded cheese. Sprinkle remainder of cheese on top of meat. Finally, cover the top with the other roll of croissant dough. Bake according to the directions on the dough package.

The ingredients can be doubled to make more as well as you can add more cheese and toppings such as sour cream.

Submitted by Misty Nichols of Harlem. If you have a quick and easy recipe to share, please send it to john@wafj.com and include a daytime phone number. You'll get a thank-you gift if we use your recipe.
