Following its commitment to help veterans find their place in the workforce, the Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will host a Job Readiness Kickoff on Friday, Sept. 20, in Augusta. Job-Readiness workshops will be held from 12 noon until 3 p.m. at the Augusta First Baptist Church, located at 3500 Walton Way. The workshops will help the returning veterans in networking, interviewing, translating their military skill-sets to the civilian workforce, and how to successfully navigate a career expo. The Job Readiness Kickoff has been specifically designed to coincide with the October 17 Paychecks for Patriots event being held at Fort Gordon.

James Long of Augusta correctly guessed that it is Angel Soft Bathroom Tissue (4 roll pack). Kroger has it on sale through Saturday for $1 per pack. Use the printable $.25 coupon (which doubles), and you'll get it for $.50 per pack plus tax. *Note: This is the last week of double coupons at Kroger. They're ending this policy.
