-The Augusta Riverhawks beat Huntsville in a nail biter overtime match last night to win their first game of the playoffs. Game 2 is in Huntsville on Friday night. Game 3 (if necessary) will be Saturday night at the James Brown Arena.

-Kelly Howell of Warrenville won the Britt Nicole CD library this morning, which includes her latest Gold CD. She told us that her mom, Jody Sanders, is the person worth more than gold to her. Jody goes into Friday's grand prize drawing.

-Elmo and friends are coming to Augusta for Sesame Street Live on June 5th and 6th at the Bell Auditorium.

-Colton Dixon, a Christian musician who is an American Idol contestant, sang a worship song on the show last night. See the video

Wednesday, March 28th

-Our Augusta Riverhawks begin their quest to win the President's Cup with their first playoff game tonight against Huntsville at 7:35 at the James Brown Arena.

-Henry Williams of North Augusta won the Britt Nicole CD library this morning by telling us about his wife, Patrice, who is worth more than gold to him. She's in the More Than Gold grand prize drawing on Friday.

-John has tried a couple of new products that he saw in the grocery store last week. Pepsi Next has 60 calories per can and falls between a Diet Pepsi and regular Pepsi. WhoNu? Cookies are packed with many nutritional elements but taste like regular cookies. What new product have you purchased lately at the grocery store? What did you think of it? Simple Cooking - Pepperoni Rollups

1 can of crescent rolls
1 package of sliced pepperoni
4 mozzarella string cheese sticks
Preheat oven to 375. Unroll crescent rolls into 8 separate triangles. Place 3-4 Pepperoni slices on the larger end of the crescent roll (or more/less if you prefer). Place one half of a cheese stick on top of the pepperoni. Roll it up, place it on the baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Could serve with warm marinara sauce.

-John's two year-old daughter, Emma, is very particular about her clothes these days. She pitched a fit before church yesterday because she did not want to wear the dress picked out for her.
