Simple Cooking - Maria's Casserole

Box Of Velveeta Shells & Cheese (or store brand, just don’t use one with powdered cheese)
Smoked Sausage (cut into bite sized pieces)
Bag frozen Broccoli
Chopped Onion (if desired)

Slightly brown smoked sausage. I usually cook the onions until soft with the sausage. Bring the water for the mac & cheese to a boil. Add broccoli, as soon as the water comes back to boiling add macaroni and cook as directed on package. Drain broccoli and mac mixture. Place in large bowl, mix in smoked sausage. Add cheesy sauce and mix together.

Submitted by Maria Quick of Augusta. If you have a quick and easy recipe to share, please send it to john@wafj.com. You'll get a thank-you gift if we use your recipe.
