-Boy Scout Troup 643 wants to help residents of Richmond and Columbia Counties dispose of their live Christmas trees. For a $10 fee, they'll pick up your tree on Saturday, December 29th or Saturday, January 5th. Proceeds go towards funding their summer camp. Contact them at (706) 373-8922 or getmytree@knology.net.

Simple Cooking - Cobbler Crunch

2 cans any flavor pie filling (we prefer peach or blueberry)
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350. Put pie filling in a square baking dish or casserole dish. Sprinkle cake mix over the top of the filling. Drizzle butter over cake mix in no particular pattern. Bake for about 35-40 minutes until it's golden on top! Serve warm and with ice cream if desired.
