Simple Cooking - DAP's True Grits

Grits (amount varies based on how many you are feeding)
Salt
Butter/margarine
Finely Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (1 cup of cheese per 1 cup of grits)
Bag of Bacon Pieces
1 pound of Jimmy Dean Sage Sausage

Brown the sausage and set aside.
Prepare the grits, according to directions on package, and add salt.
As soon as the grits are ready, dump in a dollop of margarine (1 tablespoon per cup of grits).
Add in the shredded cheese (1 cup of cheese per 1 cup of grits).
Mix in the cheese and butter thoroughly.
Next, add the real bacon pieces (1.5 ounces per cup of grits) and the sausage.
Mix it up, and you're ready to eat!
You can also add scrambled eggs if you like, and if you're really adventurous...hot sauce!
