Simple Cooking - Lemonade Pie


2 graham cracker pie crusts
1 large tub whipped topping
2 cans sweetened condensed milk
1 can frozen lemonade
Optional: 1 can of Reddi Wip

Thaw lemonade. Mix with sweetened condensed milk. Fold in whipped topping. Pour into pie crusts. Freeze for minimum of 4 hours. Optional: Top the pie with Reddi Wip when serving.

Bone Marrow Donor Match Needed for Local 5 Year Old Boy


Alex Moore is the 5 yr old son of Rev. Matthew Moore, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Martinez, GA. Alex was recently diagnosed with aplastic anemia, a rare disease that destroys the bone marrow. He needs a bone marrow transplant. Family members have been tested but did not match all the markers. The National Bone Marrow Registry will be sending a team to Martinez to conduct a bone marrow donor test drive in the Family Life Center of the church on Sat, July 12, from 11 am to 2 pm, and again on Sunday after the church service, from about 12 noon to 3 pm. The church is located at 4594 Columbia Rd, Martinez, GA - just past the Columbia and Belair Roads intersection. Alex's blood type is O+. Anyone between ages of 18 and 44 may be tested, including persons with other blood types whose test results will be placed on the National Bone Marrow Registry.
