This six-week program is for family and friends who are caring for others suffering from stroke, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease or similar conditions.
It provides you with the skills and confidence needed to better care for yourself while caring for others. Many participants report fewer feelings of anger, guilt and depression as well as increased confidence in coping with the demands of caregiving. They're also more likely to use community services that can help ease their burden.
Free Adult Day Care will be provided by AutumnCare, 3654 J. Dewey Gray Circle for each session. Pre-registration and a current PPD test is required for day care participants.
