Morning Show Notes - Tuesday, December 14th

-Cleve wore short sleeves to work today. Has he lost his mind?

-After our hot chocolate conversation yesterday, John took the recommendation of a couple of Facebook friends on Dunkin Donuts' White Hot Chocolate. It is his new favorite! This has a very creamy, unique taste that's worth a try if you like white chocolate.

-John's been through 4 different irons in the last year and is convinced that a good one is hard to find. The consensus from listeners this morning rallied around two irons: the classic Black and Decker model and the high-end Rowenta. Others said the $6.96 iron at Walmart does an adequate job. -To put perspective on our 16 degree low this morning, Justin checked in from Moscow on Facebook and said it was only 2 degrees colder there! We followed that up with Christmas Eve in Sarajevo from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, which only seemed appropriate.

-Our next Christmas Cheer Tour stop is tomorrow at the Sunrise Grill in Martinez. We'll be there from 11 to 1 collecting new and gently used coats and blankets.

Coming up Wednesday: Linda Rader shares her recipe for Slow Cooker Pork Chops and Field Peas in Simple Cooking with John and Cleve at 8:10.

  1. Hey Guys, my wife was listening to the program this morning and during the 8:00 hour, she heard a song with this line in it "What is Christmas without Christ". The song was slow, sung by a male lead, and she thinks there was actually part of a familiar Christmas Carol woven into the song. She also said it was playing right after the DJ did a promo spot for a concert in Sylvania. Can you help me figure out what the song was and who it was by. Thanks, Skip
