Morning Show Notes - Tuesday, February 8th

-There's talk of snow for Thursday! While many of us pray for snow this time of year, we don't encourage it this time, since Winter Jam is Thursday. :) Forecasts seem to indicate that we won't have much of anything in the way of precipitation. Whatever we get should be out of here by afternoon, so as not to interfere with the crowd lined up for Winter Jam. Dress warmly as we're only expected to reach a high in the 40's.

-Jennifer Losgar of Evans was inducted into Cleve's Coffee Club this morning. Click here to hear why she needs coffee!

-We're thankful for the return of sunshine today in the CSRA after several days of rain and overcast conditions. A recent poll found that 75% of people say that winter gives them a case of the blues. We talked about ways that you stay happy during the coldest season of the year. Join the conversation on the 88.3 WAFJ Facebook page. We also talked to some in the 25% who say winter energizes them. Click here to find out why from listener Jennifer.

-We love hearing the faith stories from Super Bowl players. Baptist Press has a great story about the way the Packers quarterback and wide receiver view their roles as football players and champions. Read more

-Mark Hall of Casting Crowns and Amy Grant are part of an upcoming Veggie Tales worship CD. Read more

-Coming up Wednesday: It's our last Winter Jam Wednesday. David Crowder joins us at 7:10 and you'll have a chance to win his music, along with passes to Winter Jam. Plus, we'll have another quick and easy recipe to share in Simple Cooking with John and Cleve at 8:10.
