Morning Show Notes - Wednesday, February 16th

-Dr. Emerson Eggerichs joined us this morning. He's released a gift book edition of his previous work Love and Respect called Love and Respect for a Lifetime. This is a great read for couples to help them understand their spouse's most basic need. Listen to the conversation:
Part 1: Love and respect - simple, but complicated
Part 2: How to be "clear"
Part 3: Meaning behind the words "love" and respect"
Part 4: Blue + pink = purple

-Kim Ketusky of Beech Island gave us a quick and easy recipe for Bowtie Lasagna this morning in Simple Cooking with John and Cleve. The recipe is in the post below this one.

-Google has been making our life easier for the last few years, and now they're out with Google Weddings. It's everything you need to help plan your wedding in one online tool. This morning we asked "What product would you like to see Google invent next?" We heard several good ideas including Google Grocery, where you order your groceries online and pick them up or have them delivered. Other ideas were Google Child, to help you located your child when you can't find them in a store and Google Baby, a complete manual for first-time parents who don't have a clue. Join the conversation on the 88.3 WAFJ Facebook page.

-Daniel and Jamie Maddox of Martinez are the latest winners of The Gift of Love. Click here to listen to their story about their faith carrying them through the loss of twins.

-Coming up Thursday: Dove Award nominations were announced today and we'll give you the rundown tomorrow morning. Also, after a bomb threat at a local church this past Sunday, we're revisiting a conversation from a couple of years ago with Jeff Hawkins of the Christian Security Network. Listen for that at 8:10. Then at 8:40, we'll celebrate The Gift of Love with another special couple.
