-The Columbia County Fair starts this evening and you can get in for free with three cans of food to donate to Columbia County Cares. Featured attractions include the Bear Mountain Show, the Sea Lion Splash and a Master Chainsaw Carver.

-An article in the New York Times yesterday suggested that the South is seeing a decline in people using manners. However, Augusta was one of the few places mentioned where manners are still alive.
