Monday, December 5th

-Monday Morning Mindbender
Q:
The average person craves one of these five times a day. What is it?
A: A hug

-College Football Bowl Games: Georgia Tech vs Utah in the Sun Bowl on December 31st, Georgia vs Michigan State in the Outback Bowl on January 2nd, South Carolina vs Nebraska on January 2nd and Clemson vs West Virginia in the Orange Bowl on January 4th.

-Dennis Barton of Aiken correctly guessed that the Cheapie of the Week is candy canes. CVS has the 10 pack on sale for $1.27 with your Extra Care Card. They'll give you $1.27 back in Extra Bucks, so it's like getting them for free. All you really pay is the sales tax!

-We talked about the best places to see Christmas lights around the area. Lights of the South in Grovetown is the favorite, but folks in Aiken also love Hopelands Gardens. You can a list of recommended places on the 88.3 WAFJ Facebook page and add one that you don't see there.

-If you didn't get to see the movie that Matthew West is involved with on GMC, there's good news. The Heart of Christmas airs again tonight at 9 pm.

-Coming up Tuesday: Cleve introduces the newest member of his coffee club at 6:50 AM and shares another "bean of wisdom" that will leave you scratching your head. Rick Herring of Action Ministries of Augusta joins us at 7:40 to talk about the bed project for kids in need that is the focus of our Christmas Cheer Tour.
