-Bob Waliszewksi joined us for the Plugged In Movie Review to talk about John Carter. This movie is PG-13, and Bob gives it a 3.5 out 5 for family-friendliness due to skimpy clothing, skewed theology and violent scenes. Click the link for his full review.

-Jennifer Waters from Seigler's Karate Center joined us this morning to talk about a free women's self-defense class. You can join them on Saturday from 12 to 1 pm at their facility at the corner of Columbia and Belair Roads in Martinez.

-The Augusta Riverhawks won in overtime last night against Knoxville and will play them at home tonight at 7:35 pm. There are only a few home games left in the regular season before the playoffs. Our team is #1 in the league!

-There's a kite-flying contest on Saturday at Noon at Diamond Lakes Regional Park in Augusta. Registration begins at 9 am.

-Coming up Monday: You could win a family four-pack of Shane and Shane concert tickets with the Monday Morning Mindbender at 6:10 and the Cheapie of the Week at 7:40 am.
