Morning Show Notes - Thursday, January 6th

-Our News 12 meteorlogists are talking about a chance for wintry precipitation on Monday and Tuesday. It all depends on the timing of some rain expected to move through our area on Sunday. Keep an eye on this!

-Mandisa joined us this morning to talk about her weight-loss journey and her resolution to memorize Scripture in 2011.
Listen: Part 1 Part 2 (MP3 files)
Join Mandisa and Anita Renfroe for Girls Night Out on March 12th at Millbrook Baptist Church in Aiken.

-We talked about 180 God Stories this morning. Ted Williams, the formerly homeless radio announcer gone viral on You Tube, is a great example. He credits God for the turnaround that has brought him off the street and into many job offers. If you haven't seen the video that made him famous, click here. If God has brought you from a place of despair into hope, share your story on the 88.3 WAFJ Facebook page.

-Coming up Friday: Bob, our movie guy, from Focus on the Family will have a family-friendly look at Country Strong and Change of Plans at 7:10 AM. Also, listeners like you get to be a part of the morning show in-studio during the 8 AM hour on Backstage Pass Friday.
