Morning Show Notes - Wednesday, September 14th


-One in 6 Americans is now living in poverty, according to census data released yesterday. Action Ministries of Augusta is trying to help some of those folks with their White Christmas program that kicks off on Thursday. -The Sylvania Sampler is Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm on the lawn of the Screven County Courthouse. The event features arts and crafts, a dog show, food and games.

-Jenny Jackson of Edgefield gave us a quick and easy recipe for Cocktail Weanies in Simple Cooking this morning. You'll find it in the post above this one.

-Watching SpongeBob Squarepants and other fast paced cartoons could create learning and behavior problems in small kids, according to research out this week.
