-Sylvia Wayfer from the Families Matter Most Foundation joined us this morning to talk about her attempt to break the bumper car marathon world's record at the fair this weekend. She's doing it to raise awareness about child hunger and homelessness. Listen: Part 1 Part 2 Part 3

-Congressman John Barrow is sponsoring a job fair on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm at the Bernie Ward Community Center. Read more

-The Georgia Department of Labor's Augusta Career Center will sponsor a job expo Thursday, October 20th. It will be held from 9 am to 12 noon at the career center, located at 601 Greene St. in Augusta.

-Saturday is Global Handwashing Day, and we gave away some Kackleberry Farm tickets to someone who would wash their hands for us. Listen
