Morning Show Notes - Wednesday, October 12th

-Dr. Pepper Ten was introduced this week as a man's alternative to Diet Dr. Pepper. Apparently, some men feel like they're trading in their man-card when they drink something called "diet," which is the reason why we also have Coke Zero and Pepsi Max. As long-time diet soda drinkers, John and Cleve are dispelling the girly diet soda myth. There's a fun ongoing conversation about this on the 88.3 WAFJ Facebook page.

-The average Augustan has over $26,000 in non-mortgage related debt, according to a report released from Experian. Missed payments and maxed-out credit put us in sixth place nationally for places with the worst credit score. Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University can help you get out of debt. -Barbara Flowers of Martinez shared her quick and easy recipe for Ugly Dip in Simple Cooking this morning. Don't let the name scare you - she says it is delicious! The recipe is in the post below this one.

-Clare Bethune from Augusta Christian Schools joined us this morning to talk about their Christian College Fair happening on Thursday at 6:30 PM at Warren Baptist Church. Listen: Part 1 Part 2

-Coming up Thursday: Listen for your chance to win tickets to 88.3 WAFJ Family Fun Day at Kackleberry Farm in Louisville.
