Things We Talked About Today

-Monday Morning Mindbender
Barbara Billingsley (June Cleaver) of "Leave it to Beaver" fame died Saturday at the age of 94.
Q: What was the name of the town where the Cleavers lived?
A: Mayfield
Carmen Spletzer of Aiken figured it out and won tickets to Kackleberry Farm. She told us that her employer, AAA Sign, is the company replacing the letters on the Wachovia Building this week. The 20-story building in Downtown Augusta will have six foot tall letters that spell out "Wells Fargo." These guys have quite a job ahead of them!

-Deer have been very active before sunrise for the last couple of weeks and are causing traffic accidents, like the ones we had this morning. Keep your eyes out for them, and if you're about to hit one, don't swerve, just hit the brakes. Swerving could put you head on with other vehicles.

-David is in for Cleve this week and was telling us about going to Chuck-E-Cheese with his wife on Friday night. They don't have kids, so why were they there? Keller and her cousin were celebrating their birthdays. Their nana used to take them to Chuck-E-Cheese for their birthdays when they were kids and then bowling afterwards. Nana has passed away, so it was a chance to relive those good times. What tradition is still alive and well in your family? Share it on the 88.3 WAFJ Facebook Fan Page.
