Morning Show Notes - Tuesday, January 18th

-The extensive power outage in Downtown Augusta yesterday led to a woman being trapped in the elevator on the 10th floor of the Wells Fargo building. She was okay but panicked out of fear that the elevator would fall. Cleve said he's always been afraid of that happening to him, but his greatest fear is...being trapped in a port-o-potty. Yes, he's serious. Can it really happen? Yes, Julie told us how. Listen (mp3 file)

-Robin Tapani of Martinez is the latest member of Cleve's Coffee Club. Why does she deserve to be in the club? Listen to her explain (mp3 file)

-A study finds that online messages are misinterpreted 50% of the time. The problem? Egocentrism. E-mail writers have trouble letting go of their own mindsets; they don't consider the receiver's perspective before they hit "send." How do you avoid it? -This Sunday night at 8:00 on ABC, don't miss Earnie Graham getting a new home, with the help of fellow Augustans, on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

-Coming up Wednesday: We kick off "Winter Jam Wednesdays" when Duncan Phillips, drummer for the Newsboys, joins us at 7:10. You'll have a chance to win Winter Jam passes and the Newsboys Born Again CD. Also, we'll have another quick and easy recipe on Simple Cooking with John and Cleve at 8:10.
