Morning Show Notes - Wednesday, January 19th

-First there was the Snuggie, now we have "Forever Lazy." It is an adult onesie with a hoodie. Some say it makes you look like the Easter Bunny. The funny thing is that the makers of it want you to wear it in public. Read more and see the commercial

-Speaking of "As Seen on TV" products, Cleve admitted that he bought the Fushigi Ball for his grandson (although we really think he bought it for himself). He said the tricks you can do with this ball look so easy and effortless on TV and that the ball looks so lightweight. Once you open the box you see how heavy the ball is and that you have to watch an instructional video to learn to use it. Cleve hasn't gotten around to it. You know how men are with directions!

-Duncan Phillips, drummer for the Newsboys, joined us this morning. He and his band will be at Winter Jam on Thursday, February 10th at the James Brown Arena. We asked him the origin of his nickname "Squizz" and what it's like to play drums on a set that spins, plus he talked about the historic floods that have hit his native Australia. Listen: Part 1 Part 2

-Not only is Teresa Scanlan one of the youngest Miss Americas ever at age 17, but she's also a very strong Christian. Read more

-For history buffs, there's a free event this Saturday at the Augusta Museum of History. You can watch the reenactment of the surrender of the Augusta Arsenal. Read more

-Coming up Thursday: Stephany White from Girls on the Run joins us at 6:10 AM to talk about the second season of a program that educates and prepares girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. We'll also hear from one of the young ladies who participated in the first season of the program last fall.
