Morning Show Notes - Thursday, March 3rd

-A recent study shows that eating a family meal at least three times a week is key to building strong bonds between parents and their children. What methods do you use to connect with your kids? Join the conversation on the 88.3 WAFJ Facebook page.

-John's money-saving habits are rubbing off on his kids. Yesterday, Amy and the kids were at TJ Maxx, and Evan asked if she was going to buy anything while they were there. Amy said she wasn't sure. Evan asked if she brought her coupons. Amy said no, she didn't. Evan said "I'm going to tell daddy if you buy something without a coupon!"

-The circus is in town today, but we had our own "radio circus" this morning. Listeners called to make  circus animal noises for a shot at tickets to the sold-out Girls Night Out shows with Anita Renfroe and Mandisa. Listen to the great job done by our three winners:
Jean Miller - seal
Stephanie Bowers - chimp
Tammy Jo Metcalf - donkey

-Central Baptist Church in Aiken recently had the copper stolen out it's heating and air unit. How did they respond to the thief? See their sign

-Coming up Friday: Our movie guy, Bob Waliszewski, from Focus on the Family will be with us at 7:10 for the Plugged In Movie Review. In the 8:00 hour, listeners like you will join us for another Backstage Pass Friday.
