Morning Show Notes - Monday, January 24th

-Monday Morning Mindbender
Q: Because of a national disaster that took place the same day, this US President was the only one to ever postpone the State of the Union address. Who was it?
A: Ronald Reagan - The disaster was the space shuttle Challenger explosion, and this Friday is the 25th anniversary of that horrific event.
Vanessa Jackson of Martinez was our winner.

-Augusta's Extreme Home Makeover aired last night on ABC. If you missed it, click here to watch it.

-It's the Packers vs Steelers in the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 6th. As always, the commercials will be a highlight. There's a contest featuring Doritos commercials submitted by the public and you can vote for your favorite at http://www.crashthesuperbowl.com/. The dog commercial is especially funny!

-Cheapie of the Week
Andrew Dockal of Martinez correctly guessed that the Cheapie of the Week is Jello. Walgreens has it on sale as 2 boxes for $1 with the coupon from this week's ad (available at the front of the store). Buy three of them and use the printable $.55 off 3 coupon from http://www.coupons.com/. You'll get three boxes of Jello for $.95 plus tax.

-Coming up Tuesday: We'll induct the newest member into Cleve's Coffee Club at 6:50 AM. Also, Sam Hancock, lead singer for Luminate, joins us at 7:40 AM. Their debut project Come Home is out tomorrow and you'll have a chance to win it.
